Skrillex, Justin Bieber and Don Toliver Collab on “Don’t Go”

The golden duo, Justin Bieber and Skrillex, collaborate again on “Don’t Go” with bonus star, Don Toliver. Skrillex seems to be quite busy these days, as the DJ recently released two singles with Jhay Cortez and J Balvin. “Don’t Go,” a pop single with a bit of EDM ambience, is the perfect end-of-summer song. Released on August 20th with an accompanying music video, “Don’t Go” is earning widespread praises.

Bieber, Skrillex, and Don Toliver Get Artsy

Justin Bieber, Skrillex, and Don Toliver channel their inner artists in the accompanying music video. Directed by Salomon Ligthelm, the video sees the trio admiring some paintings, cars, and a giant stuffed moose. Bieber, sporting dreadlocks, turns solid gold throughout the three minute clip. The three seem to enjoy each other’s company; the “Don’t Go” music video is more of a playful collaboration than anything else.

Don Toliver’s Breakthrough Performance

Though Justin Bieber and Skrillex are notably larger names in the music industry, Don Toliver is truly the star in “Don’t Go”. With a unique, raspy voice perfect for R&B, Don Toliver’s verse changes the entire single. His ability to switch flows is truly admirable, and even more so when showing up music giants like Bieber and Skrillex. The 27-year-old Texan is currently signed to Cactus Jack, Travis Scott’s label. His feature on this single will surely establish his dominance in the music industry.

“Don’t Go” is an Impressive Listen

The airy falsettos of Justin Bieber, combined with the raspy undertones of Don Toliver make for an impressive listen. Skrillex’s expertise in producing and writing is on display – and fans are reminiscent of first collab with Justin Bieber. Since the release of “Where Are Ü Now” in 2015, Skrillex has only amassed even more respect and admiration from the EDM community. “Don’t Go” is just another single that will cement Skrillex’s name in the producing industry.
