Justin Bieber always puts on an amazing show. During 2021 New Year’s Eve, he performed on stage for the first time since 2017. He partnered with T-Mobile and 8 million people watched the show live.
Due to the high level of traffic, the website where the concert was being transmitted crashed. Thousands of fans were trying to get in at the same time, so the show had to be pushed 45 minutes. At 11:45 pm EST, Justin appeared on stage wearing a hoodie and shorts, at the concert began!
Billie Elish was among the people watching from their respective balconies from their hotel room. She was holding a poster with a throwback picture of Justin supporting her friend.
Justin began the concert with ‘All around me’ wearing a blue hoodie, beige shorts, and a blue hat backward. The show went on with ‘Sorry’ and professional dancers appeared on stage. The concert had a crazy amount of visual effects, lights, lasers, fog, and even fireworks. The effects would change depending on the show that was playing and the vibe that each of them had.
Justin Knows How to Perform a Concert!
Besides dancing full choreographies alongside his dancers, Justin also showed off his vocal skills. He played one of his newest singles ‘Lonely’ and made us all feel emotional by the time the song was over.
Only after 15 minutes of being on stage, it was time to ring in the new year in New York. He got his dancers together and they opened up a cider and scream “HAPPY NEW YEAR!” along with fireworks and different sets of lights going around the entire stage.
Justin played some classic throwback songs such as ‘Boyfriend,’ ‘Baby,’ ‘Where are you now,’ and ‘What do you mean?’ as well as some newer tunes like ‘Yummy,’ ‘Holy,’ and ‘Intentions.’ He even had an outfit change, where he put on a jacket, a beanie and sweatpants.
Justin dedicated his performance of ‘Holy’ to his wife Hailey Bieber. Before performing it, he said “This song is for my beautiful wife. Wherever you are, thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I love you.”
Right before the concert ended, he finished it up by playing a brand new song that he released the same night called ‘Anyone.’ With some more fireworks lighting up the stage, Justin concluded the concert exactly at 1 am EST.
We can’t wait to see what Justin has in store for 2021 and hope to see him perform in person soon!
