WILLOW appears on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge for stunning live performances of “Curious/furious” and “The Funeral”. The single “curious/furious” derives from her newest album Coping Mechanism released on October 7th. WILLOW covers “The Funeral” by previous collaborator and Punk rock artist YUNGBLUD.
“curious/furious” Performance
The pop rock banger “curious/furious” released earlier last month has somber lyrics with an upbeat instrumental. “And I’m takin’ this adventure on my own/Walking through a darkened forest, goin’ home/Curious, furious, I feel alone” The singer-songwriter has internal battles with her thoughts and voices in her head. WILLOW doesn’t want to talk about what she is going through with anyone, so she isolates herself in her room. WILLOW brings raw emotion to her BBC Radio performance, and her belting comes effortlessly on the chorus. She wears a casual outfit including jeans, a zip up red long sleeve with a hoodie, and a knitted cozy hat. WILLOW is joined by a drummer and two guitarists. The white and red lights gleam from the stage and ceiling. Willow joins the band to perform the guitar solo on “curious/furious” ending with a bang.

Tom Grennan and Beabadoobee Performances
Recently, BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month has recruited singers Tom Grennan and beabadoobee for special live performances. Beabadoobee transforms Vanessa Carlton’s smash hit “A Thousand Miles” into a hard hitting rock song. An angelic, quiet voice is unusual for a rock song, however she crushes this cover. Beabadoobee then slows it down with a performance of her original song “The Perfect Pair”.
On the other hand, Tom Grennan covers the viral Tik Tok song ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)’ by Eliza Rose. He spins the house record with his raspy vocals and even mixing in lyrics from “Bad Habits” by Ed Sheeran. Following that, he lights up the live lounge with his original song “All These Nights” for an electrifying performance.
