Trippie Redd Announces 24 Date “Take Me Away” Tour

Trippie Redd is back on to touring, preparing to launch his first headlining series in 2023 with the Take Me Away series. Having dropped two projects this year, there’s a ton of material for the rapper to cover during these upcoming dates.

Covering 24 dates and cities, the Take Me Away Tour begins with an August 31st show in Minneapolis. As always, there’s major markets on the slate the whole way. Toronto, Brooklyn and Los Angeles will play host to the artist as he works his way across North America. All told, there are two major sections of this tour. First, covering the East Coast and South before closing out with a West Coast stand in the fall.

There’s a slew of openers scheduled to join Redd on the Take Me Away tour. Representing both the new generation of rap & R&B, LUCKI, D. Savage, Ekkstacy, K. Sauce and Jean Dawson are slated as supporting acts.

Plenty of New Music to Debut During “Take Me Away”

The Take Me Away Tour will support Trippie Redd’s album A Love Letter To You 5. Just released a few days ago, it gives the rapper a chance to debut a ton of new material. Another installment in his ALLTY mixtape series, #5 is another opportunity for Trippie Redd to explore a softer side of his sound. In the leadup, the rapper took to social media to speak to fans directly about the direction the project should take. “[You] know it’s going to be a mix of both styles but… which style y’all want more?” Bearing features from Lil Wayne, Roddy Ricch and KID Laroi, the project serves his second full-length release of 2023. MANSION MUSIK, released in January, was the first, spawning standouts like Atlantis with Chief Keef and Knight Crawler with the late Juice WRLD.

Redd remains one of the hottest commodity’s in today’s hip-hop. And with the Take Me Away tour, he’ll be able to prove that to his fans live once again. Head to Ticketmaster to find out when he’ll be in your area, and to get your hands on tickets.
