This past Friday, The Weeknd took our breath away yet again with another new catchy single. “Take My Breath” is the latest track from the pop and R&B superstar.
Even though he has announced a new era of music, the song continues his streak of nostalgic dance hits. “Take My Breath” is a fast-paced 80’s themed track full of synths, energy, and great lyrics. The Weeknd’s ability on this song to blend a sound reminiscent of Daft Punk with Michael Jackson to create something all his own is incredible.
The Weeknd has taken our breath away with this first single, and “The Dawn Is Coming” for more new music. After wiping his Instagram completely, he announced “the after hours are done, and the dawn is coming.”
That was last week, and since then he has been flooding all his socials letting fans know a project is in the works.
