Lizzo’s Growing Popularity

Lizzo has been at the epicenter of popular music for the last few years, and her Special album is no different. Featuring the chart-topper “About Damn Time,” the album reached #1 on Billboard’s Sales Chart. Many of her tracks have taken TikTok and other social media platforms by storm. Along with her snippets of her songs, Lizzo often posts about body positivity and her activewear line, Yitty. Her positivity-based brand has amassed more than 25 million followers on TikTok alone.

An Upcoming Documentary

The “Good as Hell” singer recently announced she’ll drop a documentary with HBO Max in the fall. In her announcement, Lizzo says “Growing up I never dreamed I’d get to experience all of the things I’ve accomplished in my life. I’m just getting started. I’m so excited I get to share and relive my journey with my fans and HBO Max.” The film will take fans through her rise to fame, tours, and the making of Special.

Fans are beyond excited for The Special Tour, which features special guest, Latto. The “Big Energy” rapper will appear at each tour date, and it’s safe to say fans are thrilled. Latto, who shares Lizzo’s positive outlook in her music, is gaining traction. She recently featured on Meg Thee Stallion’s newest album, Traumazine and has collaborated with 21 Savage, Lil Durk, and Kodak Black.
