One MusicFest 2023 Boasts Kendrick & Janet Jackson

The 12th edition of the Atlanta concert series will take place this October. And One MusicFest is pulling out all the stops to ensure their biggest weekend yet.

The full lineup for this year’s edition of the festival.

A Lineup For The Ages

Kendrick Lamar and Janet Jackson deservedly garner top billing for the 2023 show. For Kendrick in particular, this continues a run of live performances that’s made him far more available than in past years. No doubt, much of that is owed to his 2022 album release. And candidly, we’re not complaining either way.

The promoters behind One MusicFest pride themselves on the “eclectic mashup of urban artists” they bring to the stage each year. That’s continued in 2023, as both legends and up-and-comers can be found further down the lineup. Institutions like KRS-One, Nelly, Waka Flocka & Too $hort are tabbed for appearances. As are East Coast icons like Fabolous, Jadakiss and Black Sheep. For the younger crowd, Bryson Tiller and Brent Faiyaz lead up the R&B acts that are slated. Finally, for viewers of our Drops segment, Coi Leray, Key Glock and hometown hero Killer Mike will be performing, all of whom have released albums this year and will no doubt be performing that new material on the One Musicfest stage.

Though competitors Rolling Loud and Coachella may win the headlines, One MusicFest is both star-studded and storied enough to be put in the upper tier of the festival conversation. First beginning in 2010, it may be quicker to list artists that haven’t hit the grounds. Pharrell, Miguel, Outkast, Usher, SZA. Many of the biggest names that have shaped hip-hop in the last decade have graced the festival.

For fans of hip-hop & R&B, there simply aren’t many other shows that rival the star power present at 2023’s One MusicFest. So clear your schedule for October 28th and 29th if you’re planning on being in attendance. You can find more detailed ticket information at the festival’s homepage.
