NCT LAB Project Set to Release Four New Singles This Year

NCT LAB has just announced four new NCT releases: two solo songs, a duet, and a quartet.

NCT LAB

SM Entertainment project NCT LAB is, at last, giving in to the fans’ wants and needs. The project has just announced that it will release four songs by the NCT members.

First in the lineup is Jaehyun’s “Horizon,” which dropped on August 8th and is out now.

Next, Taeil and Haechan will sing a duet together. Fans are particularly excited about this one, as the duo has affectionately been referred to as “Sun and Moon” for years, by both fans and the members themselves. With Taeil’s effortless belts and Haechan’s smooth, striking high notes, the song is sure to show off their impressive vocals.

Then, Kun will release a solo single. A member of the Chinese sub-unit WayV, Kun is one of the main vocalists in NCT. Fans can surely expect a breathtaking solo single from him.

Finally, Kun will be joined by Xiaojun, Renjun, and Chenle for the last track scheduled for the rest of this year’s NCT LAB. With all four idols being remarkable vocalists in their own respective sub-units, this single will have no trouble blowing fans away.

NCT LAB So Far

While the upcoming releases from NCT LAB all seem to comprise talented singers, the project has had an array of singles from several different members.

Rapper Mark kicked things off in February of 2022 with his song “Child,” which included both rapping and singing. Then, Mark, Haechan, and Doyoung collaborated on “coNEXTion (Age of Light).” For the performance video of “coNEXTion (Age of Light),” Shotaro, a previous NCT member, showed off his excellent dancing skills to the members’ lyrics. Shotaro is now preparing to debut with SM’s new boy group, RIIZE.

In the all-English song “Rain Day,” Taeil, Kun, and YangYang came together with a bright melody and sickeningly sweet lyrics. In August of last year, Jaehyun released his R&B tune “Forever Only.” Then, two months later, Ten dropped his sensual single “Birthday.”

In April of this year, NCT LAB was kicked off once again by Mark. His fun, egg-themed song “Golden Hour” was full of both references to memes about him and unexpectedly deep lyrics: a combination he pulls off so well.

Fans are excited to see the NCT LAB songs that are coming out this year, as well as future NCT LAB singles featuring other members.
