Louis the Child Brings in Rising Artist Zachary Knowles For ‘Daybreak’

Electronic producer duo Louis The Child will have you blaring their brand new single “Daybreak” with the windows down this summer. Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett, famously known as Louis The Child, teams up with Magnolia, TX pop singer Zachary Knowles for the electronic pop smash.

Louis The Child states, “We’re stoked to share ‘Daybreak’ with you and kick off a new era of music! It’s a big windows-down summertime vibe, we hope you enjoy it :).”

In “Daybreak,” Knowles professes his love to a romantic partner over the lively and pixelated production. “It’s a mad world wherever we choose / So what’s it worth if I ain’t in it with you? / Cross my heart ’cause this ain’t ever gon change / I’m right here, right here ’til the day breaks.” She’s the guiding light in his life, and he vows to treasure and keep her safe.

More importantly, Knowles can understand what his love interest is thinking, without her having to speak a word. Despite disagreements and problem solving, she is worth fighting for because of the depth of their connection. “Talk about your feelings and your scars from a past life / She giving signs that people can’t read / We go to depths that people can’t reach yeah / She got sides nobody else sees / No one but me.”

More About Louis The Child & Zachary Knowles

Prior to the release of “Daybreak,” Louis The Child released a full-length project back in December 2022, titled Black Marble. Following that, the Chicago duo continues to create and release music for their upcoming second annual Alter-Ego. The multi-stage takeover takes place at the Brooklyn Mirage on August 19. Louis The Child is scheduled to perform a Black Marble set and a back-to-back headlining set with a special guest.

On the other hand, the “Daybreak” vocalist Zachary Knowles got his big break in 2019 when he was signed to Fader Label on September 3. Music was a significant aspect of his life from an early age. Then, Fader spotted Zachary’s rapidly growing fanbase on SoundCloud and saw potential in his music.

“I thought we were just going to get coffee, then on the day when we were supposed to meet up, he asked me to come to the Fader office. I showed him some really rough demos and he loved them. That day he said, ‘Would you be comfortable with us talking to you about a deal.’ I was like, ‘Oh yeah, definitely.’ And within the next few months it turned into an eventual offer,” says Knowles.
