Lightning In A Bottle Fest 2024 Boasts Heavy EDM Stars

One of the biggest celebrations of electronic music in each year’s calendar, California’s Lightning in a Bottle festival isn’t missing a step for the 2024 edition. Set for Memorial Day Weekend in Central Valley’s Buena Vista Lake, here’s everything you need to know about this year’s festivities.

In contrast to some other concert series and festivals that take up the event calendar, Lightning in a Bottle has more in common with Burning Man than with Rolling Loud. That is to say, there are no day-specific acts, rather each artist listed on the schedule is there to stay for the full ride. Offering two-day and five-day passes, the promoters behind the event aim to blend together a music festival experience with the camping and community appeal of the ubiquitous Black Rock occasion.

Speaking of the artists, the top-line talent brings together some of the biggest presences in electronic music. Skrillex and Labrinth lead the pack in that regard, but some EDM-adjacent names make their way into the headliners, with R&B superstar James Blake and hip-hop mainstay sharing the star position. Things don’t miss a beat further down the lineup either, with some acts we’ve covered before making appearances: Overmono of “Good Lies” fame; Mura Masa, who produced for the likes of A$AP Rocky and Pinkpantheress; and Qveen Herby, an MD Discovery alumni. It’s hard to entirely sum up the talent, old and new, included in the lineup, so head to the official Lightning in a Bottle website for the full details.

Lightning in a Bottle 2024 stretches from May 22 to 27th, with three-day passes allowing fans access beginning on May 25th. Both tiers of tickets are available now, so head to the official website for more detailed information on how to get your hands on your own set.
