Norwegian DJ Kygo joined forces with funk-pop band DNCE for a new thrilling collab. “Dancing Feet” is the song you will definitely be playing throughout this summer.
“Dancing Feet” Marks DNCE’s Comeback
It’s been a while since we last got any new DNCE music. After all, the band went on hiatus in 2018. But they’re finally back! And let me say, better than ever. They are known for their fun, vibrant music that makes people dance along, and “Dancing Feet” is no different. It’s right there in the title!
The accompanying music video, directed by Johannes Lovund; lets us see Kygo and DNCE’s frontman Joe Jonas enjoying the city of Miami’s best offerings. They work as Palm Tree Resort’s employees during the day; but are kept busy partying all night long after their shifts are over. At the end of the video, Kygo and Joe face each other at a dance battle, but they get too lost in the music and nobody wins.
Kygo Jumps in For a Perfect Mix
“Joe and I met years ago in Las Vegas and have wanted to find the right song to work on together for a while,” Kygo says. “When I started working on ‘Dancing Feet’ with David Stewart, it immediately felt like a special song. He had previously done a few records with Joe and both of us felt he could be the perfect fit for it. A few weeks later Joe and I were in the studio together in LA and finally had a song together that we both really loved! It was also great to have the chance to shoot a fun music video in Miami with DNCE; and perform the song with them during Super Bowl weekend.”
DNCE adds, “We first met Kygo when we did some shows together in 2016. We’re excited to collab with him for the first time on ‘Dancing Feet’ and share this song with the world and lean into our funk & disco influences.”
