Billboard and Samsung Galaxy announced that they are teaming up for a 3-day concert experience during 2022 SXSW.
A 3-Day Concert Series With an Incredible Lineup
The “Samsung + Billboard Present The Stage at SXSW” event will take place on March 17-19. The 3 days full of music will feature high-profile headliners at the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park in Austin, Texas, the city’s newest outdoor live music venue.
Kicking off the first day of the concert series will be headliners Gunna and Young Thug. On March 18, Palm Tree Crew presents Kygo, supported by Frank Walker and Forester. Finally, wrapping up the three-day event, on March 19, Shawn Mendes and Sebastian Yatra will take the stage. Throughout all three nights, attendees can dance along to sets from DJ Rosegold and DJ VRYWVY.

The concerts at the 5,000-person capacity amphitheater will be the biggest-ever that the festival has ever hosted. General admission tickets are $95 for each of the shows. A three-day pass for the concerts is also available for $285. You can find more information and tickets here.
Billboard is donating a portion of ticket proceeds to Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that aims to create an urban park system in partnership with the city of Austin. Waterloo Park, the first of the organization’s three phases, opened in 2021 to provide 11 acres of downtown green space, community programming, and performing arts and entertainment at the Moody Amphitheater.
Other Shows Taking Place at Moody Amphitheater
The Moody Amphitheater is hosting a series of other big events throughout the year. In April, R&B artist H.E.R. will make a stop there during her Back of my Mind Tour. One week later, folk singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff will take the stage alongside Devon Gilfillian. Then, in August, Big Time Rush will perform there during their recently-announced Forever Tour. A list of all upcoming concerts is available here.
