Jonas Brothers, Charlie Puth, MÅNESKIN to Headline Global Citizen Festival

International advocacy organization Global Citizen announced the lineup for their 10th anniversary Global Citizen Festival.

Global Citizen Festival is Back With A-Level Performers

Global Citizen will host two festivals taking place on the same date, September 24. One of them will be in New York City’s Central Park and the other one in Accra, Ghana. In the last ten years, the festival has become the world’s longest-running global campaign calling for an end to extreme poverty. Every year, it unites millions of voices, amplified by the world’s biggest artists, demanding world leaders take action now.

Performers on the Central Park stage in New York City will include Metallica, Charlie Puth, Jonas Brothers, MÅNESKIN, Mariah Carey, Mickey Guyton, and Rosalía. Correspondingly, Global Citizen Ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas will host the event.

Marking the 65th anniversary of Ghana’s independence and the 20th anniversary of the African Union, Accra’s iconic Black Star Square will see live performances from Usher, SZA, Stormzy, Gyakie, H.E.R., Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Tems.

Where to Watch the Event Live

Both of the Global Citizen Festivals will be broadcast and streamed on ABC, ABC News Live, FX, Hulu, iHeartRadio, TimesLIVE, Twitter, YouTube, and more. Additionally, ABC News Live’s broadcast will air on Saturday, September 24th, and a primetime special, Global Citizen Festival: Take Action NOW, will air on ABC on Sunday, September 25th at 7 pm ET.

Tickets to the festivals are free. You can obtain them by downloading the Global Citizen app or visiting globalcitizen.org to take action on the campaign’s issues. For each action taken, users earn points that can be redeemed for tickets to the festivals.

Last year, Global Citizen Live took place across 6 continents in the span of 24 hours. It recruited several music stars like Alessia Cara, Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, Coldplay, Demi Lovato, Doja Cat, Ed Sheera, Green Day, Shawn Mendes, The Lumineers, The Weeknd, and plenty more. So, we can’t wait to see what surprises await us at this year’s festival!

Mark your calendars for September 24.
