The Christmas at the Opry list of headliners is out! This year’s festivities had Nashville’s finest singing your favorite holiday tunes for two hours straight.
Wynonna Judd is this year’s host. The country queen is fresh off her Back to Wy Tour. Dedicated to her first two solo records, the tour delighted fans across the country. As this year’s host, this special event was her return to the Grand Ole Opry House stage. The last time she graced the stage was in 2023 for the People’s Choice Country Awards.
As for the headliners, fans expected a mix of industry newbies and established members of the Opry, and received no less. Music icon Brenda Lee sang her classic hit, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” among her other merry tunes. Singer and television host Kelly Clarkson also took to the stage to belt her beloved pop hits. Actress and singer Chrisy Metz headlined the event as well. There were also amazing performances from country stars Lauren Alaina, Mickey Guyton, Trace Adkins, BRELAND, Chris Janson, Adam Doleac, Meghan Patrick and Mitchell Tenpenny.
This new holiday special is a wonderful event for the most wonderful time of the year. Whether you’re a huge country fan or a Christmas fanatic, you will have the merriest time of your life viewing this special.
How to Watch Christmas at the Opry
Christmas at the Opry was filmed at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The televised special aired on December 7th at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. It aired exclusively on NBC. If you’re a Peacock subscriber, you could also stream the special on December 8th.
The special will air again on NBC on December 20th at 9 PM EST, as well as stream on Peacock. You can also check out NBC’s YouTube for videos of the performances.
