Philadelphia’s most popular music festival, Made in America, released their 2022 lineup. Bad Bunny and Tyler, the Creator are set to headline the 2-day event. Other notable artists include Lil Uzi Vert, Jazmine Sullivan, Kodak Black, and Tate McRae.
Made in America takes place every Labor Day Weekend and is curated by Jay-Z. The event sprawls out over the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and includes food, drinks, and activities, as well as music performances.
Bad Bunny at Made in America
Bad Bunny most recently won a Grammy Best Música Urbana Album for his album, El Último Tour Del Mundo. On May 6, 2022, Bad Bunny dropped another album, Un Verano Sin Ti. It includes tracks such as “Moscow Mule” and “Tití Me Preguntó,” both of which reached top 5 on the Billboard charts. Known for his vibrant and charismatic performances, fans are ecstatic to see Bad Bunny in Philadelphia.
Tyler, the Creator Set to Headline
Tyler, the Creator is Made in America’s second headliner. Known for his outlandish and relatable raps, Tyler, the Creator is a fan-favorite. He is rumored to perform tracks off his latest album, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, which released in June 2021. The album also peaked at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy for Best Rap Album.
Philly Natives at the Festival
A Philadelphia native, Lil Uzi Vert is also set to perform at the festival. The influential rapper hasn’t released a full album since 2020’s collaboration with Future. However, Uzi’s music is still as popular as ever and festival-goers are hype for his performance. Jazmine Sullivan, also a Philly native, is on the Made in America setlist. She recently released her EP, Heaux Tales, which charted at #1 on the R&B Charts.
Other Artists at Made in America
Other influential rappers such as Kodak Black, Pusha T, Lil Tjay, and many others are to make appearances at the festival. Singer/songwriters, Tate McRae and Victoria Monét are each going to perform in Philadelphia as well. To purchase tickets and view more festival information, click here.
