As she announced through an Instagram post, Adele‘s long awaited new album will be released on November 19th. Its name is 30, for the age she was when writing the songs. It follows the line that the singer began with her first record, 19. After that, 21 and 25 followed. She worked on her album for almost three years. The singer said in a statement that the album came out of “the most turbulent period of my life.”
Now, the 33-year-old artist is ready to share it with her fans. And we can’t wait!
Easy On Me, Adele’s new single
To anticipate the release of the album is the single Easy On Me, released on October 14th. On that date, the Internet stopped and paid attention to the long-waited star. In fact, in only two days, the single became the most popular video of YouTube with more than 45 million views!
The album is personal, and explores moments of her life. In 2019, she divorced from her husband of two years, the charity CEO Simon Konecki. The couple have a young son. “I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way,” Adele wrote in her announcement. “It’s about my relationship with his dad, and with him (her son) and, you know, the relationship that I have with myself,” said the singer during the presentation of her new record. “I’ve painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it.”
The singer is thinking about starting a global tour
Adele would love to start a tour, but she claims to be scared about cancelling the dates.
“I would love to do a big proper tour again […] but all the Covid rules are different everywhere and the sort of the rates of the infection, the rates of vaccine, … it’s just (that) it makes me nervous trying to plan a world tour globally when it feels like no one’s really on the same page. The last thing I want to do is cancel any show again.”
