For the first time ever, Lollapalooza has partnered with streaming service Hulu to Livestream the festival from July 29 to August 1.
Hulu and Lollapalooza Bring the Music to Your Home
For various reasons, many people still worry about going out in the middle of a large crowd. To make sure everyone can still have fun from home and enjoy the festival, Hulu will Livestream the music festival Lollapalooza for the first time ever.
Those subscribed to Hulu’s on-demand service will be able to watch the four-day music festival; running from July 29 to August 1, at no additional cost. The stream will begin each day at 10 am PT and wrap up at 9 pm PT. You can find more information about the event on Hulu.com/lollapalooza.
“We are thrilled to be partnering for the first time with Hulu for this year’s Livestream and are excited that the Lollapalooza fans who cannot be with us in Chicago have such a great platform to experience the show,” Courtney Trucksess, sponsorship director of Lollapalooza festival promoter C3 Presents, tells Billboard.
The Festival Will Have Amazing Performances
Lollapalooza is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The event will happen at full capacity in Chicago’s Grant Park and include performers like Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Tyler, the Creator, DaBaby, Brockhampton, Tate McRae, Olivia O’Brien, All Time Low, Jack Harlow, and more.
Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot said in a statement in May, “Armed with a vaccine that is safe, effective, and widely available; we are able to bring back one of our city’s most iconic summer music festivals”. The event will require attendees to provide proof that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Anyone not vaccinated will need to show a negative test within 24 hours of attending Lollapalooza each day.
