WALK THE MOON Are Back With New Music and Announce Fall Tour

WALK THE MOON released three brand new singles from their upcoming album Heights and announced they will be going on tour this fall.

Two Long Years With No New WALK THE MOON Music

It’s been almost two years since we last heard new music from WALK THE MOON. The band certainly gave fans what they were patiently waiting for since then – new music to celebrate their comeback. In a bundle, they dropped “Can You Handle My Love??,” (which came out with a music video), “Giants,” and “I’m Good.”

Heights‘ lead single, “Can You Handle My Love??” is a collaboration between WALK THE MOON, Tommy English, and K.Flay. It was produced by Tommy English and Mike Crossey. In a statement, WALK THE MOON lead singer Nicholas Petricca explained of the song, “‘Can You Handle My Love??’ is a song about how trying to be perfect is totally ridiculous. Whoever hears these songs, I want them to be reminded of what they love about life.”

Heights Will Have Songs Almost as Old as the Band!

While talking with American Songwriter, frontman Nicholas Petricca shared that the new album will feature some songs that were written almost a decade ago. “The album is buttressed by songs that are eight or nine years old,” he shares. “We’re a band that writes a lot of songs for each record, so there’s a lot of material that doesn’t get used, and it’s not because we don’t love those babies. Sometimes it takes a while for them to grow up, or for us to find the right way to really bring them to life.”

They’re Going on Tour This Fall

Heights will be WALK THE MOON’s first full-length album since 2017’s What If Nothing. So, to commemorate the news (even more!), they announced they will be hitting the road around the U.S. this fall. Starting on September 9 in Tampa, Florida, they will play a big total of 26 shows before playing the last one on November 7 in Austin, Texas. Check out the full list of dates down below!
