Songs to Chase “Twisters” To

Get ready for an album full of songs to chase tornadoes to!
Twisters: The Album

Howdy y’all, and welcome back to a new episode of Scored! Today, we’ll be taking a look at the soundtrack album to one of this year’s hottest blockbusters: Twisters!

Twisters: A Rousing Blockbuster

Twisters is the standalone sequel to the 1996 film, Twister. It continues its predecessor’s traditions of delivering epic action sequences, charismatic acting and truly jaw-dropping special effects! But you wanna know what else this film continues from the other film? A stellar soundtrack! Because this film is set in Oklahoma, some of the best country artists working today all came together and made songs to fill up the official album. I’ll be showcasing exactly three that you should check out and add to your summer playlist!

Song Highlights

The three songs from the album I believe to be the best it has to offer are Luke Combs’ “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” Warren Zeiders’ “The Cards I’ve Been Dealt” and Charley Crockett’s rendition of an old-school classic, “Ghost Riders (In the Sky).” Luke Combs doesn’t shy away from making a track that absolutely goes hard, as does Warren Zeiders with his melancholic, yet upbeat song. And Charley Crockett throws it back to classic country, singing in a similar manner to Johnny Cash when the latter made his version of the same song. Still, it’s quite enough to give you the chills!

And that’s a wrap on today’s episode of Scored. For more on why this soundtrack is worth your while, check out the video below. And for more articles like this, check out the rest of our site here at Music Daily.
