“The Tour” Live Concert

Shawn Mendes decided to give fans a surprise and release a live concert of his last tour “Shawn Mendes: The Tour”.  The live concert, recorded September 2019 in his hometown of Toronto, Canada was made available for everyone on Netflix. Fans got excited to hear the news and remember the memories they made at the show.

Camila Cabello Joins Shawn on Stage

The Shawn Mendes live concert starts with one of his hit singles “Lost in Japan” where Shawn shows off his guitar playing skills and keeps fans involved in the show by having them sing with him “There’s nothing holdin’ me back.” He then brought his current girlfriend, Camila Cabello, to sing with him on stage their hit song “Señorita,” which had everyone in the audience screaming and singing their lungs out. They danced together and leaned in closer to each other, but Camila said goodbye before the public could see a kiss from the couple.

An Engagement at the Live Concert!

After singing a couple more songs, Shawn ran from the main stage to Stage B, located in the middle of the stadium to give fans a better view and high-fived fans on the way, while also stopping for a few hugs from them. There, he sang “Life of the party,” the first song that he released as a solo artist, and “Ruin” on the piano, getting fans emotional.

Back on the main stage, he told the public that his friend Josh had a question to ask his girlfriend. Then, we can see the couple getting emotional and Josh kneeling with a ring in his hand. His girlfriend answered yes to his question right away. Shawn proceeded to announce her answer to the public who immediately started cheering for the couple.

Closing up the Show

Shawn dedicated his song “Fallin’ all in you” to the newly engaged couple and then sang “Youth,” where he gave a meaningful message to the audience, saying: “You are the one that has the power to change the world for the better. It’s up to us to say that no matter what happens, our youth cannot be taken away from us.” He then got the live concert crowd pumped up by playing “If I can’t have you,” “Mercy” and closed up the show with “In my blood.”

After another round of high-fives and hugs with his fans, he waved to the public and said goodbye, saying “Thank you Toronto, I’ll see you next time.”

After the live concert finished, we can see Shawn backstage hugging his relatives and crew members, happy to have had a successful show.
