Paramore Announces New Zealand and Australia Dates

After a brief hiatus due to singer Hayley Williams’ lung infection, Paramore is back. The band announced new dates in New Zealand and Australia.

Back in August, Paramore’s tour came to a hiatus due to the health of lead singer Hayley Williams. Read a snippet of their prior announcement below.

“After my lung infection forced us to postpone four shows, I was hoping a week off of performing and a strict medicine routine would allow my body to heal enough to finish off the tour strong. I have been doing everything to fight this infection so we wouldn’t have to disappoint anyone with more news of postponements and cancellations. After struggling through the last few shows and consulting with my doctor, we’re unfortunately realizing it’s past the point of wanting to push through to put on a cool show for all of you…”

After a proper break with plenty of rest and relaxation, the singer’s lung infection cleared up. Paramore is ready to tour again.

Fans are hopeful for rescheduled shows for the ones canceled on the last tour. Also, European fans are clamoring to see their favorite group again soon. It is a matter of time before these issues are addressed. Hopefully, all is sorted without much controversy.

In the time between their last show and this new announcement, the band uploaded a video of a poem by Hayley Williams. It is called “Grey Area (Note to Self).” It is the opening visual for the tour, so it serves as a sneak peek for what to expect vibe-wise when going to the upcoming shows. You can watch the visual below.
