GRAMMY Awards 2023: Highlights of the Night

The GRAMMY Awards 2023 are officially over! With that, we need to talk about who won, who gave the best performance, and who got snubbed. Let’s get into it!

Best Dressed

First of all, let’s appreciate the best outfits of the night…and the ones that we’re not too sure about.

Taylor Swift

She styled an amazing two-piece sparkly top and long skirt, giving us all the vibes of her latest album Midnights!

Cardi B

Another stunning blue outfit! The unique style of this dress is beautiful.

Lizzo

The star’s Dolce and Gabanna gown and cape offered two different looks.

The Ones We Didn’t Love – Shania Twain

The country star’s outfit just makes us think of a…cow? A dalmatian? We’re not even sure.

Blac Chyna

Blac’s outfit was way too dark for the occasion…and it kind of resembled a crow.

Harry Styles

This is one that some people will not be very happy with, but Harry’s outfit didn’t feel on-point this time. It made us imagine a bubblegum machine.

Best Moments of the GRAMMY Awards 2023

As always, this years’ GRAMMY’s were one to remember. There were tons of surprises, including history made, artists that weren’t expecting to win, and some others who got snubbed during the night. Let’s discuss the most notable ones.

Beyoncé
The music icon made history as the musician who has won the most GRAMMY’s ever. With her wins of the night, her GRAMMY count went up to 32. Nevertheless, she still didn’t win any of the biggest categories – as the Album of the Year award went to Harry Styles.

Kim Petras & Sam Smith

Kim made history as the first openly-transgender woman to ever receive a GRAMMY award. Next to Sam Smith, the pair won the category of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Unholy.”

Viola Davis

After winning in the category of Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording, Viola Davis achieved her EGOT status (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards). She is only the 18th person to have won all four of the major awards.

Best and Worst Performances

50 Years of Hip Hop Tribute

A-list hip hop stars got together to celebrate 50 years of the music genre. Ice-T, Queen Latifah, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Lil Baby, Dr. Dre, Lil Uzi Vert, and more artists united their voices for a beautiful tribute.

Bad Bunny

The Puertorican singer took the stage accompanied by dancers, fun outfits, and a bunch of energy. He performed his hits “El Apagón,” and “Después de la Playa” to make everyone in the building dance and get on a good mood.

Harry Styles

People were surprised when Harry’s House was the winner for Album of the Year, but not as much as they were with Harry’s performance – and not in a good way. The “As It Was” singer couldn’t reach the high notes while performing the song, so he had to stick with performing the lower ones. It is very likely that this happened due to Harry’s busy schedule for the past few years of touring non-stop, but it was just unfortunate that it happened during an important award show.
