Cheat Codes Tease Country Album Soon

Electronic dance trio Cheat Codes is teasing that they have a country album for release this summer.

Cheat Codes Amaze With Three Albums in One Year

Cheat Codes never stop! The trio of DJs just released their 14-song studio album HELLRAISERS, Part 3 this past May. The album is part of a series of albums that they debuted in May 2021 with HELLRAISERS, Part 1. The second part of the series was released in October last year, so the group has given us three new albums to enjoy in a one-year span. Do they work every night and day non-stop?! I wouldn’t be surprised.

Well, it turns out that Cheat Codes have even more music in store for us. Now, the group is teasing that they have been working with country artists for an upcoming country album. Which, of course, would have a taste of EDM music to it as well.

Big Country Stars Will Join The Trio in New Album

Sharing the news with Billboard, Cheat Codes stated that they were inspired following 2021 country collaborations with Little Big Town, Lee Brice, and Lindsay Ell. “We had so much fun making [those songs], we just started working on a bunch of other ideas, and one turned into 13,” Trevor Dahl shares. “It’s why we got into electronic music. Because we’re able to explore other genres and other artists and not be stuck in one lane.”

The untitled album is set to include new collaborations with Lady A, Jimmie Allen, Maddie & Tae, and more of country’s biggest names. It’s due sometime this summer with further details to be announced soon.

Cheat Codes drew inspiration for the project from Dolly Parton, Nashville, and California’s Stagecoach Festival. “I’ve always loved that country-pop stuff. Also, being able to dive into it with our music is really cool and something that I didn’t necessarily think we would be able to do when we started.” Hopefully, Dolly makes a special appearance in the album!
