Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band arrive to the final date of their world tour in Monza, Italy, and we were there! Discover with us all that happened during the night with us here on Music Daily!
Tash Sultana opens the event
The excitement for one of the best performer to ever grace the stage started with the incredible opening act. Setting the tone for an unforgettable event was Tash Sultana, an Australian multi-instrumentalist performing reggae and psychedelic tunes on her sax, bass, guitars, drums, keyboard. A black hat, a pair of sunglasses and she shocked the entire audience. From the back to the front people stood up one by one, surprised and curious by this unknown (in Italy) soon-to-be fans’ favorite.
Creating her work one note after the other, adding each piece to the previous on the spot, the artist created a magical atmosphere, beautifully harmonised with her scratchy, youthful and full voice.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band conquer the stage
When Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band got on stage, the excitement immediately grew in the audience. On the stage, Springsteen started performing his biggest hits with an unmatched energy, proving that to catch the public’s attention you don’t need to be young, but rather show the passion and
With small choreographies and funny dance moves, The Boss entertained an event of more than three hours easily comparable to his old days in the 80s. Passion, charisma and profound emotion gave life to classics like “The River,” “No Surrender” and “Dancing In The Dark.” The power in his voice brought back the energy of his Born In The USA, The River, Darkness On The Edge Of Town and Born To Run. On the sound of Little Stephen’s mesmerising guitar and Jake Clemons’ saxophone, the concert fast reached the end of the
Bringing the stage to his home country, Springsteen often introduced long speeches in between songs, bringing the typical American moral speech on community and humanity to Italy. The concept of moralising each song, aiming to teach a life to the audience isn’t as common in Italy as it is in The US, leading the public to a suspicious and doubtful enjoyment of it all. The speech was often used as an introduction to moving and deep songs like I’ll See You In My Dreams, which concluded the show.
Unexpectedly, “Born In The USA” wasn’t performed. Fans waited for minutes in front of the dead stage, excited to see The Boss’ biggest hit live. The disbelief was bigger than the disappointment when the staff started disassembling the stage.
