Boygenius Starts North American Tour and Makes a Pit Stop at Coachella

Three days prior to the release of their debut album the record, boygenius would announce a North American Summer tour. The trek across North America began a week ago (April 12) with a show at the Fox Theater Pomona, CA. Boygenius is making a pit stop at the music festival heard around the world: Coachella. They are scheduled to perform on April 15 and April 22. 

Boygenius Conquers North America

After that, their North American Summer tour will continue in Phoenix, AZ on June 6. Next, boygenius will conquer Houston, Asheville, Wilmington, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Vancouver and more. Also, a swarm of guest appearances will join boygenius on the tour. The opening acts include Carly Rae Jepsen, Bartees Strange, Claud, Broken Social Scene, and Illuminati Hotties.

The 14-date North American tour carries through the summer, wrapping up on August 5 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO. 

Meanwhile, the record currently holds the fourth spot on the Billboard 200. This is the first appearance in the Billboard 200 top ten for any of the boygenius bandmates. Additionally, the LP gave the indie supergroup their first ever number 1 record in the U.K.
