A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, active in the game since 2016, recently announced his latest tour. The Better Off Alone Tour comes two years following his latest full-length, Me vs. Myself, and comes amid speculation about his next project. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming headlining stint.
A Boogie Truly Globetrots For The Better Off Alone Tour
Functionally, the Better Off Alone tour takes A Boogie through three distinct legs. First, over the span of a week and change, he’ll hit a few spots in Australia and New Zealand, beginning with an April 10th date in Auckland and ending with an April 16th date in Sydney. Up next is a trek across Europe, landing in major hubs like Amsterdam, Cologne, Paris, Manchester and London at the end of April and beginning of May.
Finally, and likely most importantly for those reading, he takes on the US and Canada in a full North American headlining journey. The US side begins with a May 18th show at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle and wraps up June 24th at historic Madison Square Garden. In between, you can catch him in plenty of the traditional major metro markets like Portland, LA, Phoenix, Jacksonville, Tampa, Atlanta, Detroit, Philly and Boston. To truly conclude the tour, A Boogie will spend about two weeks in the Great North, taking on Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver among a few other September dates.
NLE Choppa & Luh Tyler Lead a Stacked Field of Openers
While the particular shows each will be at varies depending on the date, the openers scheduled for the Better Off Alone Tour absolutely fit in line with A Boogie’s core audience. NLE Choppa, Luh Tyler, Dess Dior, Fridayy and Byron Messia are each booked for performances along the way.
In a flip of the typical order, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s tour announcement actually precedes concrete details about the album from which it takes its name. While Better Off Alone the album has obviously had its title confirmed, a release date hasn’t. Reading between the lines, the bulk of the domestic dates begin with the Seattle date in May, perhaps tipping off when we can expect his fifth LP.
Either way, A Boogie has plenty of hits in his catalog to carry this tour even if his LP ends up delayed. Head to his official website for more information on how to get your hands on tickets.
