Johnny Orlando Kicks Off New Chapter With “I Don’t”

Johnny Orlando is kicking off a new chapter of his career with “I Don’t,” a brand new dance-pop single featuring DVBBS. Through it, the teen singer shows that he is capable of exploring different genres of music.

Johnny Works Hard At His Craft

Johnny has been working on new music nonstop, but the singer is ready for more. Although he just released his latest EP, Single on Valentine’s Day, this past February, he’s already announced that “I Don’t” marks a new start to his career. “This next chapter of my life, this music, is going to be the most insane so far. ‘I Don’t’ is the first page of that chapter. I have always said that I need to be honest with my music. I always want to believe in what I am releasing.”

He continued, “The opportunity to come together with DVBBS and create this song has been profound to me. These guys went through the exact same things, felt the exact same feelings, and persevered the same way I’m hoping I will. Whatever happens this year, I want to create exactly according to the vision I’ve had in my head since I was 12. Have the best time of my life. I think the pop-EDM crossover works really well on this track and that it’s a perfect way to kick off the warm weather!”

Collaborating With DVBBS On The Dance-Pop Hit, “I Don’t”

DVBBS also shared their point of view regarding the new collab while talking with Just Jared. “When the opportunity came about that we could produce Johnny’s next single, it was a no-brainer for us. This chapter in his career will shape exactly what kind of star Johnny truly is. We could not be more excited to bring this vision to life. ‘I Don’t’ paints the perfect picture of both our worlds combined, and we know performing this one is going to be fun. Canada to the world!”

Johnny’s career started when he was only 12 years old after he released his first EP, VXIIXI. Since then, his fame on social media has only grown, and now has over six million followers on Instagram alone.

The young singer is the definition of a hard worker. He’s released plenty of solo singles, along with two other EPs, Teenage Fever and It’s Never Really Over. Although he’s only 18-years-old, it’s clear that he knows which path he wants to follow – music.
