Griff & Sigrid Team Up For “Head on Fire”

Synth-pop singer-songwriters Griff and Sigrid teamed up for their new single, the fun and joyful “Head on Fire.”

Griff & Sigrid Have The Time of Their Lives in “Head on Fire”

“Head on Fire” arrives via Warner Records. The song is a beautiful duet that features Griff and Sigrid’s vocals equally, and they sound heavenly! The accompanying video, directed by CC Wade, showcases the rising stars playing around in an abandoned theater. Trying out all costumes and props, they walk around without a care in the world, just enjoying the moment and their music.

“Oh, I think I’m losing my: mind. Over here, over you, every night. Both hands holding on to the wire. Impossible: fight. Over here, without you, every night. Sitting here with my head on fire,” Griff and Sigrid sing together in the chorus.

How Did The Pair Meet?

About the duet, Griff shared, “I’ve looked up to Sigrid so much, especially as a young girl who broke through making powerful, credible pop music. So I was excited to hear she wanted to write. We hung out and made ‘Head On Fire,’ this really fun, feel-good song, and I’m excited for the world to finally hear us on a track together.”

Sigrid added, “Griff and I met sharing a pizza at the Rueben Selby show at Fashion Week in London, haha. We went to the studio a while later and just had a day of talking about life, before writing ‘Head On Fire.’ It’s about that feeling when you meet someone who just flips everything upside down and you can’t focus on anything else but that person. Sigrid’s just lovely, and it’s been so much fun working with her.”

They Are Both Hitting The Road This Year

Griff will embark on a sold-out U.S. headline tour later this month and is set to open for Dua Lipa on her 2022 Future Nostalgia European tour. On the other hand, Sigrid will also kick off her UK/European headlining tour this spring and will stop by festivals later in the year as well.
