Rising British singer-songwriter Hope Tala shared her latest track, “Tiptoeing,” last week, and we can’t get it out of our heads.

Rapidly making waves, Hope Tala’s music gives us something to look forward to. The singer is relatively new to the music scene, but her music demonstrates that she knows what she is doing. This summer, she teamed up with fellow rising artist Hauskey for “One Minute,” – which, if you haven’t listened to yet, you should get to it!
Written by Hope alongside Greg Kurstin, “Tiptoeing” is a magnificent indie pop-infused fun track that talks about dancing away your worries when the situation needs it. “How you gonna make me do this dance again? We’re getting closer but we’re trying to be friends. If we start it might never end, so we keep tiptoeing,” sings in the chorus.
Speaking on the track, Hope Tala explains: “Tiptoeing is about the dance we do when we’re at the threshold of romance. It’s about treading carefully when you’re not quite sure what the other person is feeling, but desperately wanting to take a risk because you’re young and life is short.”
Catch Her on Tour This Fall and Winter!
Hope just started touring the US with Alina Baraz this past Sunday. Kicking off the tour in Oakland, CA, she will accompany Alina in 21 out of the 27 total stops until the tour’s end in Seattle, WA on February 3 next year. All dates and tickets can be found here.
