Tove Lo Releases “Dirt Femme (Extended Cut)

Pop artist Tove Lo released Dirt Femme (Extended Cut). The original 13 tracks are all included, plus two extra singles.

The two extra singles featured are “I like u” and “Borderline,” which are co-written with fellow pop queen Dua Lipa. Included in the “extended cut” are remixes by Jacques Greene, Jax Jones, and Dorian Electra. Plus, the pop star released a totally brand-new song just for the album, “Elevator Eyes”.

The brand new song recontextualizes the album, as it is the new center in which all other songs wrap around. Regarding the song, Tove Lo released a statement on the song which you can read below.

“The rich and bored LA bitch for the final Dirt Femme scene. “Elevator Eyes” was one of the first songs written for this era, with one of my fav Kiwis, Joel Little. It’s about summer crushes without a future. I always wanted this song to be part of Dirt Femme, and now it is.”

You can watch the music video for “Elevator Eyes” below.

This music video is the 15th and final ‘scene’ released to promote the album. You can watch the rest on Tove Lo’s official Youtube.

Tove Lo Loves Her Fans

The pop star also released another statement regarding the entire album itself:

“My independent baby, now complete. My beautiful fans, thank you endlessly for all your love, hype, and support in this era. You always show up for me, and this time I’ve felt it more than ever. It means the world to me. I hope you’ve had the time of your lives dancing, crying, fucking, and feeling to these songs. That they have provided some relief during hard times and enhanced the good times. I hope they continue to be a part of your lives.”
