Swedish Band Teddy Failure Drops Single “Pure” With ELIO

Time to discover new music, today is the turn of… Sweden. Teddy Failure, collective of Swedish producers, are now out with their last project “Pure,” featuring ELIO. The band from Stockholm, after the important success of “Tissues,” has launched an alternative pop track that wouldn’t be surprising if it were soon on the USA top charts. Opposite to their origins, you might be surprised by the fact that they sing in English, an artistic choice that can give a plus to their music.

International fan base

The duo, composed by Teodor Runsio and Frans Torell, is achieving a lot of results in the last period. Indeed, also thanks to the signing on with Columbia – Germany, they’re moving their fan base all around the world. This is something really unusual for an emerging band, but Teddy Failure are different.

The Swedish couple is destroying the old categories, “multicultural” is the key word for their project. Teddy Failure’s music looks more to the USA market, wants to be viral but without trends and cliché. “Pure,” their lastest drop, is heavily influenced by the presence of the talented ELIO.

The new gen of pop music

Released in 2020, ELIO is another new generation artist of the alternative pop genre. What these three have in common is mainly the versatility of their many talents. Teddy Failure, as well as ELIO, are not only songwriters but also producers. That’s a rarity by now, considering nowadays’ trends. With Teddy Failure and ELIO, finally we have people that live and eat music 24/7.

About the track, they say: “This is the first project we wrote for Teddy Failure.” Well, the meaning of this declaration could have a doubly significant. “Pure,” at least listening to the band, is the beginning of an evolution process. Surely they have big qualities, we’ll see if the numbers arrive too.

Sweden, Germany and Norway are already on Teddy Failure’s map… and the USA?
