With the successful promotion of her third album, emails i can’t send, Sabrina Carpenter shows no signs of rest going into the holidays with “A Nonsense Christmas.” The sexy Christmas remix of “Nonsense” comes after going TikTok Viral and its own hysterical music video.
“y’all made me do this,” she tweeted, announcing the single. “‘A Nonsense Christmas‘ is out now on all streaming platforms happy hoelidays!!”

Further, “A Nonsense Christmas,” Carpenter pairs holiday trademarks with her naughty mind. “Think I only want you under my mistletoe / I might change your contact to ’Has a huge North Pole’ / You said you like my stockings better on the floor / Boy, I’ve been a bad girl, I guess I’m getting coal,” she sings in the first verse, later in the chorus going “Lookin’ at you got me thinkin’ Christmas.”
Since the track’s origin, the 23-year-old pop star noted its unserious and chaotic energy. “Genuinely, [I] just could not stop writing fake versions of the chorus,” Carpenter said on the Travis Mills Show. In addition, she adds, “Basically, we were, like, we know the song is nonsense, we know the chorus, so we took a few of those lyrics that we love, that we were dying over, and we put them in the outro of the song. It’s cool that that kinda song was able to make it in the record, because I really think that also it shows my stupid sense of humor.”
First teased on TikTok, Carpenter wore a revealing Mrs. Claus get-up. Topping it with flirtatious movement, she danced to the slightly more acoustic-sounding track. The original version blew up on TikTok with over 245k videos using the sped-up sound.
