With 30 dates and counting, the Nostalgia Tour kicks off on Oct. 19 in Lincoln, NE. Nostalgia The Album

Furthermore, the tour supports Rod Wave’s R&B and hip-hop album, Nostalgia. The features include chart-topping rapper 21 Savage, TikTok sensation Sadie Jean, and indie pop band Wet. Across 18 tracks, the St. Petersburg musician unmasks depression, betrayal, and heartbreak. In “Boyz Don’t Cry,” Rod Wave gets candid about his personal life behind the scenes. “Never fall in love again, my heart is on a shelf / My music’s full of pain, but I keep my problems to myself / And I keep my mouth closed cause my thoughts sometimes can get too deep / My heart cold, my eyes closed, but I never go to sleep.” Also, he addresses the constant scrutiny of his music centering around pain and hardship. The harsh judgment on the internet is a direct result of the social constructions of toxic masculinity, especially enforced on black men.

What’s more, Nostalgia is aiming for a number one debut on the Billboard 200, selling 130-140k units, surpassing Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS. View the Nostalgia Tour dates below.
