Have you ever been in a relationship where you can’t let go cause the sex is just that good? Yes? No? Either way, Panic! At The Disco has got a story for you with his bombastic and (ironically) fun “Middle of a Break Up”.
Brendan Urie’s Toxic Fun Music & Video:
Brendan Urie is not one to shy away from more risque topics in his songs. I mean c’mon, one the most recognizable songs he’s ever done is the classic “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.” Y’know, the song that uses the line “What a shame the poor groom’s bride is a whore” right before erupting into one of the catchiest choruses known to man. Anyway, we’re here to discuss the wonderfully colorful and elated “Middle of a Break Up” so let’s do it.
I absolutely adore that this single is visualized with an 80’s musical inspired music video. Lyrically and visually, those two just CAN’T stop having sex. Even when it all seems like they’re about to end things, hell, ESPECIALLY when things are about to end! I’m not one for this kind of toxic behavior but also… it’s a great song so I can’t really complain! The vocals by frontman Brendan Urie are as stellar as usual and that guitar solo is just excellent!
Into it? Awesome! Panic! At The Disco’s 7th album: Viva Las Vengeance! And that’s all for now! For more on your favorites and unknown check out our Word and Drops sections.
