Lil Uzi Finally Drops “Pink Tape”

After years of anticipation, it was EVERYTHING Uzi fans wanted and more! After all, this is the Grammy nominated artist who made Lebron’s pregame playlist!

The Big Tease

After teasing the album in December 2020 during an Instagram Live, fans have been OBSESSED with the idea of Pink Tape. He announced the album’s title in an Instagram post in July 2021, and the obsession only grew stronger. From then on, everyone has been begging for the release.

Finally, on June 30th, 2023, Uzi released the album! A mixture of rockstar and rap-star Uzi, with an addition of a couple of OG Uzi leaks, this album is the perfect comeback. The album features artists Don Toliver, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, and BABYMETAL. Previously there had been rumors of no features on this new album but Lil Uzi surprised us all.

Reviews Are Mixed Except For Fans

Some are giving this much anticipated release mixed reviews. The industry standard, Billboard has announced it debuting at Number 1 on its Top 200 chart. Nice return to the top of the charts like Lil’Uzi did in 2020. So perhaps the fans’ opinion is ruling in results. This backs up his Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Album from the American Music Awards from 2020.
