On January 25th, Karol G made the exciting announcement of her upcoming fourth studio album, Mañana Serà Bonito (Tomorrow Will Be Pretty). To get the fans excited, the singer came in with a bang by teaming up with bachata king, Romeo Santos, on a new single, “X SI VOLVEMOS”.
Romeo Santos had recently made a comeback back in September of 2022 with an album, Fórmula, Vol. 3. The king hadn’t released an album since 2019. His recent collab with Karol is spicy, but would we expect less from Romeo?
The chorus, a sad but sexy farewell, sings:
“Vamo’ a hacerlo por última vez, bebé (Bebé)/
(Let’s do it for the last time, baby (Baby)/
Que en el amor no, pero en la cama nos entendemos (Oh)/

The two definitely make a good pair in this song together. From the sex appeal to their singing voices, you can’t deny the chemistry. Reportedly, Karol already had the song recorded and had uploaded a teaser on TikTok. Shortly after, she though Romeo would sound good on the song with her, and ended up calling to invite him. Prior to his invite, Romeo had made a video with the audio to the song already, which he shared last week.
Karol’s Winning Streak
Recently, Karol and her music have been thriving. Her 2022 “$trip Love Tour” took the title for the highest grossing tour by a female Latin artist. Her third studio album, KG0516, released in 2021 and debuted No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums. She was additionally noted as the second female solo act to debut at No. 1 in 2021.
Her upcoming album, no doubt, it’s something to look forward to. The pink-haired Colombian posted a colorful teaser-trailer on her Instagram on January 25th, stating:
“Por fiiiiiiiiiiin!!!! POR FINNNNN!!! Hoy anuncio el proyecto al que tanto amor tiempo le he dedicadoOooo. Solo she que para mi y para todos. MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO.”
