Making Memories at Waffle House

Jonas Brothers for their single, "Waffle House"

The release of “Waffle House” marks the second and last single from the latest Jonas Brothers album. This comes after “Wings” was dropped back in February. The title of this track was revealed in an interview with Variety before being teased across social media accounts. Inspired by 70’s bands like the Bee Gees, “Waffle House” reminisces on the late night conversations the brothers had while growing up. It’s an upbeat nod to the place that inspired the Jonas Brothers to come together and achieve their dreams.

“Growing up, we would go to Waffle House after shows, and it became our sanctuary. It was the place we dreamt up ideas, the place where we worked through our problems together, and the place where we finally realized we could find our way through anything as long as we came together.”

Jonas Brothers’ “The Album”

For more songs like ‘Waffle House,’ we will have to wait until “The Album” is released. On May 12th, fans can expect to immerse themselves in a more mature and honest world with the Jonas Brothers. When producing songs for their sixth studio album, Nick, Kevin, and Joe wanted to be sure to create a timeless record that was relevant to all generations. After all, the band came together in 2005. The fans that grew up alongside them are likely experiencing similar life milestones, like parenthood and marriage. Nonetheless, younger generations are surely flocking to the band as well. As such, “The Album” was created with individuals of all ages in mind. So be sure to pre-save “The Album” and give it a stream (or many streams) on May 12th. Until then, catch the trio on Saturday Night Live and stream “Waffle House”!
