Jesse McCartney began his career at the age of 6 when he performed in the local musical Oliver. The artist had his first television experience on Broadway in The King and I and A Christmas Carol. Then, he became famous in the early 2000s as a member of the boy band, Dream Street. He was a member of the band between 2000 and 2002. Then, he pursued a career as a solo artist. In 2003 he released his biggest success, Beautiful Soul.
The album describes the love for his then-fiancée
The album is very honest, and talks about the relationship between Jesse McCartney and his then-fiancée Katie Peterson. It includes his two singles, Kiss The World Goodbye and Party For Two, a song that he wrote inspired by the day when he proposed to his then-girlfriend. In fact, October 8th, the day he released New Stage, is also the day he got married!
