Jennifer Lopez “Halftime” Documentary Coming to Netflix

Get ready to learn a lot about Jennifer Lopez! The global pop superstar is bringing the documentary Halftime about her life and career to Netflix.

Halftime Offers an Inside Look at J-Lo’s Life

Halftime will give fans an inside look at Jennifer’s crazy and successful life. Above all, we will get to see what her career as a singer, an actress, and a business mogul looks like. For instance, the Netflix synopsis reads: “Global superstar Jennifer Lopez reflects on her multifaceted career; and the pressure of life in the spotlight in this intimate documentary.”

The official release date for Halftime on Netflix is June 14. However, Tribeca Festival will offer an exclusive early premiere of the documentary on June 8. Announcing the news of the film on her Instagram account; J-Lo posted a picture of the official poster and captioned it “It’s just the beginning.”

Tribeca Festival Will Premiere the Documentary

“It’s an honor to be selected for the opening night of Tribeca. So fitting to be celebrating this critical milestone in Jennifer’s life and career just miles from where she grew up! We’re excited to open with ‘Halftime’ an inspirational documentary that spotlights Jennifer Lopez’s activism through her iconic Super Bowl halftime show. Above all, Tribeca is proud to feature a wide selection of diverse programming that reflects our commitment to equity and inclusion. In addition, we’re eager to premiere this beautiful exploration of JLo’s Latina culture and heritage at the United Palace, just blocks away from the Bronx.”

Last year, Jennifer Lopez joined forces with reggaeton star Rauw Alejandro for “Cambia el Paso”. After that, she united with Maluma for the theme song of their new movie “Marry Me.”
