Jennifer Lopez “Cambia el Paso” With Rauw Alejandro

Jennifer Lopez – AKA Latina queen JLo – united with Reggaeton star Rauw Alejandro for a new Latin Urban banger “Cambia el Paso.”

The Duo Unite for the First Time on “Cambia el Paso”

“Cambia el Paso” – which translates to “Change the Step” – marks the first time JLo and Rauw have worked together, but the duo made sure to give their best. In the eye-catching music video for the song, JLo showcases her outer world dance moves – while making us want to go on a vacation to the beach.

In the song’s empowering lyrics, JLo sings in Spanish, “He doesn’t deserve to have her in his arms. She knows it, she knows it. Your life is better now without him. You don’t need anyone to be okay. She does not fail, she does not fail. Change the step, change the step, change the step. All she wanna do is just dance dance dance dance.”

JLO is Finishing up Her First Spanish Album Since 2007

According to a press release, the choreography illustrates the song’s metaphor which links dance steps to “the steps that an empowered woman takes in order to break free.” The visuals in “Cambia El Paso” further confirm JLo’s status as one of the most legendary dancers of her time. She previously acknowledged the track’s inspiring message in a recent interview with SiriusXM.

“The song is about change and not being afraid to take the step,” she said. “Like, just take the step, advance, do what you need to do. If something’s not feeling right, whatever it is in your life, like, just make that move and dance. Dance is life, and joy and happiness.”

JLo is currently working on the finishing touches on her ninth full-length studio offering, her first Spanish album since 2007. Last year, she and Maluma joined forces for “Pa’ Ti” and “Lonely”. With more than 100 million combined streams and counting, the songs are two of the most successful Spanish-language hits of JLo’s long career.
