Harry Styles Returns with “As It Was” and a New Album


Pop star Harry Styles returns with the first single from is third album, “Harry’s House.” The song, titled As It Was, is one among the 13 from the upcoming release.

Getting ready for his show at Coachella and his UK tour, the artist announced a new release. Following his previous “Harry Styles” (2017) and “Fine Line” (2019), the singer is ready to release the final piece of his trilogy.

After weeks of hidden clues on all social media, Harry Styles finally announces the name and release date of his third album and new single. Some of these clues include a mysterious new website called were a door opens on a secret wallpaper. This wallpaper changed during the days. Fans also discovered that the promo video for “Harry’s House” might contain an hidden song. In fact, when reversed, the promo sounds like a possible new hit from the upcoming release.

In March, Styles released the title of the album, “Harry’s House.” The title probably alludes to Joni Mitchell’s song “Harry’s House / Centerpiece.” In fact, Harry is a huge fan of the 70s singer.  He covered a few of her songs such as Big Yellow Taxi.

As It Was Official Music Video

Together with the single, ex One Direction member released the official music video for the song. Ukrainian filmmaker Tanu Muino directed the video.

“Directing a Harry Styles video was a bucket list dream come true for me as he’s my favorite performer,” Muino said. “Shooting him was bittersweet as it was one of the happiest days of my life, but on the second day of the shoot, my country Ukraine was invaded so you can imagine the insane emotions we had while shooting. Me and my team from Ukraine poured so much love into this video and you can see it on screen. It will be a music video I will never forget and now I can happily retire.”
