Coachella 2022: Kanye West, Billie Eilish and Harry Styles as Headliners

The rumors around the final lineup and headline of long-awaited Coachella 2022 have finally been solved. As for what voices were saying, Billie Eilish, Kanye West, Harry Styles and Swedish House Mafia will headline Coachella 2022! But there’s more! Two other names appeared, and we couldn’t be more exicted! In fact, Harry Styles and Swedish House Mafia will join the duo as well!

Coachella announcement

On Wednesday (Jan 13th), Billboard announced and confirmed the names of the final headline. Moreover, all over social media, posts about the festival appeared. And Coachella itself did.

Coachella

Both Billy Eilish and Kanye, now Ye, already performed before at Coachella. “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” artist sang at 2019 festival and performed part of her album. On the same year, the “Donda” singer set up one of his infamous Sunday Service gospel concerts. On the contrary, Harry Styles has never played Coachella.

Fans couldn’t be happier, and not only for the incredible performances they’re going to see but also for the return of  the Swedish producer group. In fact, together with these names, other incredible artists are going to perform on the acclaimed stage of Coachella. Among these we can find Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Big Sean, Måneskin, and many more.

Who won’t be there?

On the other hand, some are the names that we won’t be able to see in neither one of the six dates. In fact, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean and Rage Against the Machine were the original headliners of the 2020 show. But these artists won’t be at the festival.

A Change.org petition called Travis Scott to be excluded from the lineup after his deadly Astroworld concert tragedy. As for Frank Ocean, he will return in 2023.

The festival will take place April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, California. After two years of postponement due to Coronavirus, Coachella is ready to return. And we can’t wait to participate.
