Boys World Premiere “Relapse” Music Video

Girl group Boys World premiered the music video for their single “Relapse.” The song was featured on their debut EP While You Were Out that dropped last month.

Boys World Shine On “Relapse”

In the new music video for “Relapse,” the girls show off sparkly outfits and makeup, but all while singing a powerful ballad. “Relapse” is the only slow-paced song on their EP. It is also the only song where each of the five girls get to showcase their voices beautifully. This song in particular talks about being hung up on someone that is not good for you. “I was getting this close to letting you go. But then I fall back, why’d I do that? I wish my heart was stone and I had more self-control. But I fall back, yeah, I relapse,” Boys World sing in the chorus.

Boys World’s Elana explained to People that “Relapse” is “the natural sequel to the relationship-gone-bad in ‘Tiptoe.’”

“It’s that same exact person and you’re caught in such a toxic cycle. You feel like you just can’t get over them. The lyrics in this ballad are just too powerful. You just keep going back to them over and over again. You don’t know how to stop it, and you regret it, and you’re just stuck.”

Friendship Comes First

As for now, “Tiptoe” and “Touch by an Angel” are the only songs off the EP that don’t have a music video. The lead single off While You Were Out, “Girlfriends,” has surpassed the one million views on YouTube and has almost hit three million streams on Spotify, making it their most popular song to date.

They describe “Girlfriends” as a first impression of what the group is about. Besides being a pop group, they’re all best friends, which is what they try to communicate on this EP.”The EP starts out with you being with the girls,” Lillian Kay explains to People. “We start with something like that because it’s literally our brand: Girls supporting girls.” Queenie adds, “It’s the epitome of who we are.”

Keep an eye out for this catchy girl group and enjoy their EP While You Were Out featuring their ballad “Relapse” out now!
