Alessia Cara Releases 4 Compilation Albums

Pop artist Alessia Cara burst onto the scene in 2015 with her breakout hit “Here.” And in 2018, she earned the Grammy for Best New Artist. And since then, Alessia has been going full speed ahead. In September of 2021, she released her third studio album, In The Meantime, containing a whopping 18 tracks. Continuing in her prolific style, she’s released four albums in the month of March this year. Yes, you heard that right. FOUR ALBUMS in ONE month.

What’s on The 4 New Albums?

Broken Heart, For The Love of Pop, Me, Myself, and I, and Seasons Change are all compilation albums. Most of the tracks come from In The Meantime. The first compilation album, Broken Heart, features a new track, “I Choose” from the Netflix original film “The Willoughbys.” It also has a remix of In The Meantime track, “Best Days” featuring Pentatonix. On For The Love of Pop, fans get another remix of “Best Days” produced by King Henry. All tracks from Me, Myself, and I draw from In The Meantime. But the last of the compilation albums, Seasons Change, features some of Alessia Cara’s biggest hits, like “Scars to Your Beautiful” and “Growing Pains.”

One of the standout tracks featured on her compilation albums is “Box In The Ocean.” Originally featured on In The Meantime, she sings about boxing up her “explosive” feelings over a reggae-tinged beat, rounded out with plenty of trumpets. Check out the lyric video for the track below.
