“Elvis” is Rose Villain and Guè Pequeno’s tribute to the king of rock ‘n’ roll

July means new music for Rose Villain. The singer, born in Milan, Italy, but musically grew up between Los Angeles and New York, is now living probably the best moment of her music career. This time, after last summer’s success of the single “Chico“, Rose has chosen yet the big name of gangsta rap Guè Pequeno.

A special guest

Elvis“, produced by Sixpm, is the name of the new single of the lucky couple. The song, dropped on the 2 of July, has latin inspirations with a modern sound. With its strong pop rock influences, “Elvis” can count also on a special guest: the presence of Elvis Presley’s voice. In the chorus, indeed, we can listen to a beautiful extract from “Heartbreak Hotel,” the king’s hit from 1956.

Rose, after the first experimentations with The Villains, started to be known just a few years ago in Italy. Launched to the general public by Salmo in 2016, the singer stood out from the beginning thanks to her particular vocal timbre. But stat numbers didn’t come easily to her. Then the sudden success came at home with the featuring on “Don Medellín“, contained in the album “Hellvisback Platinum“.

Now, at almost 32 years old, she’s certainly one of the most interesting voices of the female music panorama. A “Queen Medas” that turns everything it touches into gold. Her featurings count millions of clicks on all the possible platforms, and it’s not just casually.

Back to the song, “Elvis” wants to be something more than a simple boring summer hit. Rose Villain is finally trying to find the best version of herself, with a new language she can rely on. Besides, the contribution of a notable talent like Guè Pequeno is an important proof of her qualities. And who knows, maybe “Elvis” will follow in the footsteps of “Chico” and its 60 millions of clicks. We wish her so.
