Post Malone’s Album is Held Up by Label

Post Malone, perhaps one of hip-hop’s biggest stars, is finished with his next album! Unfortunately, fans don’t have a release date for the project. According to Posty’s manager, Dre London, the album is being held up by his label, Republic Records and Universal Music Group.

Label Causes Delay

Dre London took to Instagram to boast about the album and share his frustrations with its pending release. He writes, “Our sync & energy always on a Insane level!! Album has been done!! We Ready!!” It seems Post Malone has been working as hard as ever to give fans what they’ve been waiting for. Unfortunately, according to London, “It’s time for the label to get the business right before we drop BIG Album!” While we can’t be sure what’s caused the delay, Posty and his manager are surely unhappy about it.

Two Post Malone Projects

In April of 2021, Dre London hinted that fans would get two Post Malone projects this year. He posted on Instagram, writing “This that smile while on FaceTime with @postmalone agreeing that the world deserves 2 Posty projects out this year! Discussing dates to drop the 1st one sooner than u think!” Of course, fans were ecstatic in the comment section. After all, it’s been more than two years since the release of his last album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, back in 2019. We can be sure that Post Malone’s next album will be a hit.

Recent Collab

Post Malone recently collaborated with The Weeknd, another member of Republic Records, for “One Right Now.” The single was experimental for Post Malone, complete with ’80s synths and incredible vocals. Fans expect that Post’s upcoming projects will demonstrate a growth in his artistry, as his last few singles have blurred music genres.

Here at Music Daily, we’re hopeful that Posty will get to release both projects this year. And when he does, you can be sure to check back for our reviews and all the updates you need!
