This past Friday, rap legend and founder of Dream Chasers, Meek Mill, dropped a new track with some heavyweight names. “Sharing Locations” is the latest track from Mill and it contains features from Lil Baby and Lil’ Durk.
Like usual, Meek Mill comes with a hard-hitting instrumental and even better bars. With the added help of two of the hottest rappers out right now, the single doesn’t miss. Overall, the attitude that each artist comes with is unmistakable looking in Mid-season form as the year comes to a close.
This is Meek’s fourth single to come out in 2021 in a streak of tracks that have been on fire. His first track came in January with Latin Hip-Hop single “Conga” featuring Leslie Grace and Boi-1da. Since then he has released “That Go!” and “Flamers Flow.”
Meek Mill, Lil Baby And Little Durk Are Taking Over
Although the hype around these tracks has not been up to his normal standard, the music is as good as it’s ever been. And with all these singles slowly coming out, there is little doubt he is in the studio working on something big.
His counterparts, Lil Baby and Lil Durk, however, have been coming out with project after project, taking the 2021 hip-hop scene by storm. Lil Baby has been everywhere this year, from performing at the 2021 Grammy’s as a surprise feature artist and then on Kanye and J.Cole’s new projects. Although no solo album has been released this year, Lil Baby’s latest project My Turn has still been going strong.
As for Durk, 2021 has been a breakout year. The trap rapper from Chicago, IL has been building up a strong following since his debut in 2015. Now he is hitting the mainstream and at the start of the year, Durk dropped a studio album in tribute to late rapper King Von titled The Voice. From there, he collaborated with Lil Baby again for an entire album called The Voice Of The Heroes.
All three have been heating up, to say the least, and it should be interesting to see how they finish the year out. Right now, Meek Mill will be performing a string of concerts in the UK as well as New York in September. Meanwhile Lil Durk and Lil Baby will be traveling together for The Back Outside Tour also happening in September.
