ZAYN Previews New Album “Nobody is Listening”

ZAYN is dropping a new album on Friday, and last week he just gave another hint of what the album is going to sound like with ‘Vibez’. The English singer-songwriter’s album will be called Nobody is Listening, and is set to release on January 15th. It will be Zayn’s third studio album, following Icarus Falls and Mind of Mine.

Previewing the Album with ‘Better’ and ‘Vibez’

Last September, Zayn released the first single of the new album, ‘Better.’ The single marked his return to the music scene. It was his first and only release of 2020 and the lead single from his third studio album. He also released a music video for the song the same night.

Four months later, he finally released the second single off the album, ‘Vibez.’ The official music video for the song premiered only twelve hours after its release, on January 8, 2021. ‘Vibez’ marks ZAYN’s first release of 2021, serving as the second and final single to the album. In the song, the English singer-songwriter continues with his usual themes of sex. He dedicates it to his girlfriend and American model Gigi Hadid, who is also the mother of their daughter. Using innuendos, he encourages her to show her true self and not having to hide anything since nobody else is there, which might also explain the album’s title.

Zayn Dropped an Album Trailer!

But that’s not the only surprise Zayn has for his fans. Just last night, he released a trailer for the upcoming album. The trailer includes snippets of all of the eleven songs in the album. It also shows that there will be two collabs in the album: SYD and Devlin. All of the songs seem to follow the same vibe and there is even an acoustic song: ‘River Road.’

We certainly can’t wait to listen to the full album! Make sure to check it out on Friday.

[…] “’Talk About Love’ is about that phase before two people work out what they are to one another,” the pop star explained of the single in a press release. “That specific window is so beautiful and fragile, as soon as you start asking ‘are we doing this?’ or ‘how do *you* feel?’, for some people that ruins the magic. ‘Talk About Love’ is savoring that moment before you have to decide.” […]

[…] Back in September, Ruel talked about the new EP during an interview and said “I want to get across that this project is another step forward in maturity for me. FREE TIME was a step up from READY, and this BRIGHT LIGHTS, RED EYES EP is a step up again. This project was a stream of consciousness when I was writing it at the time. I feel like that’s the way all projects and songs are for me. They are moments in time. This project isn’t who I am right now, as I wrote these songs last year. But it’s the most mature you’ve ever heard me and it was me, in that moment in time. The songs I’m writing now will be more mature again, and I love that my fans can come on this journey with me as I grow.” […]
