Young Thug Has Us Waiting For More With New Single

Get ready for a new era of music from one of the greatest names in Hip-Hop right now: Young Thug. The rap star who recently turned 30 has released a new single with a very pink video along with it.

Young Thug

Tick Tock” is the latest club banger from Young Thug, and it has fans looking at their clocks anticipating an album soon. The song ushers in a “Big Boss” mentality as Thugger makes his way through an office space spitting lyrics. The simplistic beat includes march band trumpets and a killer beat as Young Thug raps one of his better verses.

Within the three-minute track, he touches on his personal accomplishments, the Rockstar lifestyle, and reaching new heights. He even talks about all the huge artists he has had a role in helping get to the top.

Saying in one verse, “You might got to take the assist and let your dawg get the big shot.”1 This verse explains Thugger’s ability to help upcoming artists, look at the likes of Gunna, Lil Baby, Yung Gotti, and so on.

Overall, it is no surprise Young Thug does his thing on this track, and we should be in for quite the treat when he drops his upcoming album expected by year’s end.

Young Thug Is Going “Punk”

Before officially releasing his new single “Tick Tock”, Young Thug was giving out huge hints weeks prior for his die-hard fans. Last month at Rolling Loud Miami, Young Thug debut the song to the 75,000 in attendance. He also revealed the song a week later on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, however this time he had even bigger news.

Without saying a word, Young Thug let us know the name and date of his new album with a T-shirt. From the information we have, his sophomore album Punk is due to release this October 15.

If the project is anything like the collective album, Slime Language 2 the released earlier this year, expect an absolute hit. There is no tracklist or features announced just yet, but be on the lookout for more news about this new project coming soon.
