Two Prolific Artists Unite

YG and Mozzy have already proven to fans how powerful they can be together with songs like “Too Brazy” and “Thugz Mansion.”  Powerful enough on their own, fans have been asking what other records these two can create together. YG Continues to Show Up for His “Kommunity”

In honor of YG & Mozzy’s “Kommunity Service”, it’s only right we look back at times they gave back. YG and Mozzy will pay homage to the late DMX by recreating a poster image from Belly, for their album cover.

“Kommunity Service” marks YG’s return into the music community after devoting time into developing his brand 4Hunnid.

It is rather fitting that YG’s latest album is titled “Kommunity Service,” after his recent involvement in giving back to his LA community. Earlier in March, YG and his label 4Hunnid unveiled their first sneaker. YG x 4Hunnid Block Runner “The Flame” went on sale on March 31st, 2021 for $200. 4Hunnid later posted on their Instagram story that this shoe sold out in 8 minutes. YG went on to hand out 50 pairs of shoes to people staying at the LA Union Rescue Mission homeless shelter. YG told Revolt TV, “You always gotta do an act of kindness. Especially right now times is hard. I gave away some shoes, that’s light. But we doing bigger things than that.”

This act was only an addition to YG’s history of giving back to the “Kommunity.” Last year, when COVID-19 hit, YG’s nonprofit organization, 4hundred Waze, gave $10,000 worth of personal protective equipment to families in Emergency Crisis Housing in Los Angeles.
